Thanks
Have you heard the new album yet?
No, net yet. It's streaming everywhere on the net but I can't listen to it with my dial up.
Is it good?
It's different. The band has improved so much with their songwriting and the songs are beautiful. It depends what you're into. There's one song, the Let It Die song.. I fucking love. It's probably in my top 10 Foo songs now. But it just depends on what you like. it's very mellow, a lot mellower that people were hoping for. There are full electric songs but they're the weakest of the album and you can tell the band focused on the acoustic stuff and the melodies. Dave's songwriting is gorgeous in the album.
But yeah. So far there have been mixed reviews on the Foo board. Its definitely a grower. You need to listen to it more than once to really like it. I think people were just disappointed it wasn't like another TCATS since they were expecting it with Gil Norton producing the Foo album again. |

But I got some cash from tutoring yesterday and I plan on buying one before I see them at MOD.
Not sure which one I should get though, any suggestions? |

or TCATS I second that motion. I think they're equally as good, so just get whichever's cheaper. There's actually an anniversary edition of TCATS right now, and it's pretty fucking sweet. |

John Entwistle Great Success!
Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 55036 | September 22nd, 2007 at 09:12pm Their new song "The Pretender" is good. But it's political isn't it?
Man, I have more political songs on my ipod than love songs. And I don't agree with any of the political songs. But I love the bands so I'm not going to hate them or not listen to the political songs just because I don't agree with them. I guess those are the consquences when your republican and love rock n' roll. But the Foo Fighters are awesome and so is their new song. |

AWESOME.
They were so nice, they signed stuff for everyone during commercial breaks and stuff.
When they first came out Dave started jumping in the crowd giving random guys hug,he practically jumped on me and my friend to hug this guy that was sitting beside us.
And I ended up buying TCATS. :] |
