I wanted to do that with my guitars. I have an electric and acoustic and I was gonna tune one in a different one and another in standard. I mostly switch back and forth btwn drop D and standard but I've gotten better so I can acutally tune my strings by ear I just can't hear songs and stuff and distinguish chords gah. It'll take time. I'm proud that I can tune strings by ear though.

I can tell a progression...like, I can say that it goes from the I chord to the IV to the V but that's just me taking piano and being a music geek. I can't tell what key the song's in, though. I make Tom do that and then figure the rest out from there if I can.

For All the Cows is sooooo fun. And I was so excited watching Ev. but Home...I was like "AHHH CHRIS IS PLAYING IT THE EXACT SAME WAY I PLAY IT!"

MY friend used to play drums but he quit cuz he didn't have time. I was like.. if you really love it you'll make time for it. I play sports, work and have school and shit and I still make time for guitar. It may not be everyday but I mkae sure I play it a lot of I dn't play for a while.
