Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 5438 | November 26th, 2006 at 10:03pm Yeahh, I like it that way too..my lessons aren't really all that regularly scheduled, one week I'll have one and then I won't for a month, etc.
And by the time I started taking lessons I already knew pretty much all the basics, so it's less of a set lesson and more of a jam. Kind of. And my teacher's an incredible musician so it's fun and there's a lot to be learned from him. |

I loooove G tuning, it sounds so cool. Especially for bluesy stuff. Since we have 2 acoustics now I want to tune one into G permanently so I can play Daughter and other xcore songs but Tom keeps tuning them back because he's anal like that. *kicks him*
Nothing like a joint Stewart/Colbert interview to read in the hospital. My family is musically challenged but I taught myself piano and how to read music when I was 4 *shrugs*
Yeah, my mom's been in the hospital since Friday so I left it there with her so she can get a chuckle.
Is she okay?
My brother used to be xcore pianist when he was young. He acutally did shows and stuff but then one summer my mom gave him a choice of whether or not he wanted to play baseball or piano and he chose baseball. My mom is retarded and my brother is mad at her about it cuz he said he could have been really good and now he can't remember shit. But it explains his good ear for music She's doing better, she had some massive leg rash thing that almost went into her blood stream and killed her but she's on meds now and it's almost gone.
Yeah, I used to play softball and my dad said "softball bat or guitar?" Guess which I picked
Mine was "softball bat or hockey stick?" and I picked the hockey stick. But guitar was never really an issue with sports and stuff because I taught myself for most of the time.
MY friend used to play drums but he quit cuz he didn't have time. I was like.. if you really love it you'll make time for it. I play sports, work and have school and shit and I still make time for guitar. It may not be everyday but I mkae sure I play it a lot of I dn't play for a while. I think the most I ever played was for 3 hours straight I get imaptient and bored I've spent entire days doing nothing but playing guitar and eating... and no, I wasn't on drugs |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 5438 | November 27th, 2006 at 02:22pm hahaha. Maybe. Though I doubt it cos our radio stations aren't that cool. They only play a lot of stuff by one person if someone in the band dies |

Our radio stations suck althout we have a good classic rock station 104.3 and The Peak : 107.1 which plays a lot of classic and modern rock.
Other stations are okay but I mostly liste nto those 2 my broter listens to 104.3 ALL the time so it grew onto me. I heard Cold Day in the Sun on 107.1 one time |
