Cool beans.
I saw some dude wearing a London Calling shirt yesterday, too. It was the one on the sleeve of the 45 of LC. He walked past me and I got all excited, pointed at him, and went "I LOVE YOUR SHIRT *scary grin*"
The kid goes "..haha...thanks." and walks away like I'm mad.

Yeah today in the gorcery store this girl comes up to me and she was wearing those crazy hardcore boots and black skinny jeans and a leather jacket and she had a mohawk and she just looks at me and goes "Good shirt, kid." It was my Clash shirt. She and I actually ended up talking for a really long time about the Clash, specifically Joe. She goes to college now, but she's home for Thanksgiving. I love meeting cool people just because you end up wearing the right shirt at the right time. There's definitley a sense of community there because I doubt we would've ever talked unless we knew we had that shared interest.

That's never really happened to me.
The most I've gotten was at the beach, some scraggley looking hippy working at a store goes to me "Woo, The Clash." *points to shirt*
I give him a thumbs up and walk away. He gave me the creeps. o_o

I have never really talked to anyone who really knows about the bands I listen. I think its maybe because Im young and all the other punk kids are older. I did have a great conversation with this heavy metal girl, mostly cause her friend told her everything about punk. So she acctually know who the Dead Ks are, Clash, Ramones ect.

I just see them as a band performing songs of a legendary band in their honour.

I used to despise tribute bands, but now I just think of them as normal people like us, who just jam out by playing songs by their favourite band--not a good idea for a career, but certainly a good way to better your playing etc etc

Yay thanks. When you ask me to make you one, it inspires me, lol, since I actually get around to making one for you, I figure while I'm at it, I'll make myself one...that's how it works. Haha.

I got Global A Go-Go today.

And also, does anyone what me to post my article about Joe? I wrote it for the school paper because we need to write now to belong to it. I'm an editor, so go figure. But, I'll post it if anyone wants to read it.
