Story time!
So it was the end of our midterms today and I celebrated by taking the long and cold trek down to the local record store. I was rewarded with a very old, very used "The Cost Of Living" EP, which someone had just brought in. I never expected to see one of these things in stores, let alone for only $10, so I bought that mofo. They also had a Clash City Rockers EP, but I decided on this one. It's so old and I love it because in the corner of the cover it says "BRAND NEW!" They spelled Paul's name wrong on the back though. It says "Paul Simenon". So then I got a smoothie and trekked back home and listened to the Good The Bad and The Queen.
Wasn't that a good story?
OMG you got The Cost Of Living EP you lucky bastard. I want that EP so much
I have an original UK copy of it ....
I like when I go in stores and find surprises, for lack of a better word. There is a record store in DC, and I found some old BAD albums there...the store has a great name too---crooked beat records. I think I've mentioned this before? I forget stuff easily sometimes
We don't have anywhere around here that carries records.

That is the only place I know of around here, and it's almost an hour away, which basically sucks.
the best music store near me is amoeba, actually best store, period. they have pretty much everything there, lots of vinyl, bootlegs, obscure, and out of print stuff. pretty much my favorite plave ever. there are lots of other music stores, but that one is the best/my fave.

Oh you lucky people! I don't think I have ever been to a vinyl store. Its cause of this damn shithole I live in. And probably cause when we were a part of Yugoslavia the damn government banned "evil" records or cut of the songs they didn't want on the album

I like my avatar for my profile. I'm going to make it into a shirt when I have time and money and the energy to do so.
Its cool. And have you been told you listen to a lot of bands?
I know, I listen to tons of music. It's an obsession. I think it's a healthy one at least.
