Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 7797 | September 25th, 2007 at 05:04am There's a Mick interview in the new Spin magazine, so I'm going back to get it on Weds. and I'll post a scan for you guys.
In other news, I presented my Washington Bulletsness today and apparently my teacher "loves the Clash", so I'm expecting a decent grade. Then he went on to say "in case if you guys don't know, the Clash were a VERY political band." |

Also they played career opportunities on University Challenge last night. Hardcore pank. |

Age: 33 Gender: Female Posts: 5438 | October 2nd, 2007 at 01:40am My friend, who has fairly awful taste in music, came running up to me in the hall today asking me to lend him Sandinista! because apparently they use "Police on my Back" in Knocked Up and he wants that on his iPod. |

Yes, yes they did. It's in the scene where they're buying pregnancy tests. The original Police and Thieves is in there too. ... I think I already posted this months ago. Oh well. |

 | October 2nd, 2007 at 05:46pm Junior Murvin's 'Police and Thieves' is also in Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. Vinnie Jones is also in that movie, best fucking Welsh football player, ever!
I love hearing music that I like in really popular movies that everyone else likes. It's sorta like, because I can't connect with everyone on a musical preference level, the music that I like in movies that others like connectes me with them, instead.
Which reminds me, really hot guy in my year who like The Clash. That brings the total Clash fans in my new year group to three! Woot! This is why I end up hanging out with the teachers. But this guy, ugh, so, so, so very cute. I didn't know he liked the Clash until today I mentioned them to a friend who had no clue who I was talking about and he said, 'You don't know The Clash? Get out, seriously, get out now.' And I was all like, ' Thank you!' *Squeeeee!*
Yeah, I gushed. |

Bahhhh, I wanna meet a Clash fan. I've met some extremely casual listeners ("OMGILOVEROCKTHECASBAH" , but no one I can actually hold a conversation with. |

 | October 2nd, 2007 at 09:14pm I wanna meet a male Clash fan. I think there might be a boy in my French class, he is gorgeous, but idk, I just know he wears a Punks not dead cap and he stared at my Ramones tee so there might be hope, but idk how to ask him.
