I was talking to a boy I like today, and I had a Combat Rock shirt on. He looks at me and goes "Combat Rock....???" And I was like "Yeah...you know...by The Clash.....do you know who The Clash is?"
and get this.
He said no.

Color Me Impressed:
Electric Buttsecks!:
I wanna marry a male Clash fan.
I want to marry The Clash.
Seriously though, however I marry will either have to be a Clash fan, or I will make them into a Clash fan because otherwise they wouldn't be able to stand my constant 24/7 playing of Clash songs.

I don't think that I really like it too much. I've seen it a few times. And each time. I like it less.
The commerical kind of sucks, but it totally excites me to hear the Clash coming out of my TV.
Yeah, whenever I hear them mentioned, like on The Weakest Link or something, I get all quivery-like.
It's just astonishing that such a humble band, with such humble people are really as popular as they are. Totally defies The Clash as I wish to know them as in my head to be, but only in an odd and connective kind of way.

Which actually reminds me, I don't know of any Radiohead fans on here (I'm not one.), but I do love what they've recently done. Their latest album is up for download at whatever price the buyer would like. Here are a band who really do love the music they play and really aren't playing it for money, but only for themselves, and I credit them and admire them so much for that. That's brill, that is.
Apparently, very few people are buying the album for one penny anyways, most people are decent enough to acutally buy the album at full retail price. See, good bands get good fans, I would never consider being cheap with The Clash because they are worth even more than I can afford.
I'm going to admit it, and I'm not particularly proud of it, but I did used to sneak in to shows or concerts sometimes, but when I did, I always bought a souvenir or sought out the band myself to pay them whatever I had on myself. They usually take it really lightly anyways, because they realise the situation I'm in, and also, they don't get all the profit from the gigs anyways, so usually I'm giving them more than they'd get any how. I don't know, I get really guilty about anything I've done wrong, most of the time. Sometimes, some eensy weensy petty crimes are totally worth it though.
