There's another one too from a different show where he quits his acting and becomes a parking meter person going "People shouting abuse at you, that's real magic!"
hey does anyone think that harry should have seen the thestrals before the start of the 5th book, i mean firstly i thought he saw his mum die and if not or if that's just because he didn't remember, then what about on the way back in the 4th book???
Well, he wasn't that old when his mom died, so it makes sense he didn't see the thestrals right away. You have to at least be old enough to remember/acknowledge the death to see them, I think. As for on the way back, I was under the presumption that they didn't take the thestrals back, I've never noticed mention of the carriages on the way back but I could be misremembering.
J.K said that to see the thestrals you had to accept death, and when he went back to Privet Drive in the end of the 4th book, he hadn't fully accepted that Cedric was dead or something.
Uhh..yeah. Sorry for the random intrusion there.

And that's why he couldn't see the thestrals before even though he'd watched his parents die as a baby.
There are just two things I'm dreading about the book...It's going to be sad........and...We're not seeing so much of Fred & George, who kind of make the books happen for me. =/ I'm going at midnight to get it though.

I'm thinking i should read the sixth one again now, and then again before the new book comes out.
I also have to read the fifth book again before the movie comes out, for, you know, comparison research.
