I presume there is not already a topic about this but feel free to lock.

Although i realise they are technically an "other band" i am quewstioning their upbringing and morals more than anything so i guess putting this bhere would be better.

Have you heard of them? I recently read about them in an article in a teen magazine. They are twin 13 year old girls that dance infront of swaticas and sing mostly covers by white-power bands. Their mother has bought them up to be incredibly racist and even took them out of school because they didn't teach history the way she wanted. (obviously putting Hitler in a bad light) Although in most countries this kind of "music" would be illeagal it appears that in some states in america it's fine. They talk about being proud to be white but is this really a bad thing? If you were to replace the word white with black would it be considered acceptable?

I believe that these are two young girls that need to be taken away from their mother.

For more info search Prussian Blue on google.

i read about them in The Mirror. i think that they should be allowed to say what they think, but not to an extent of abusing others.

As long as they are not causing others any physical harm, I say let 'em carry on. I don't agree with their opinions, but thats just me.

Think of how infuriated you would be if somebody took you away from your mother and wouldn't let you have an opinion, however 'wrong' it may seem. That would make you just as bad as any dictator.

I think the problem is these aren't neciserrily their own opinions, their mother is using them to express her views...but hey..one day they'll probably grow up and resent their mother.

This is kind of touchy I suppose.
On one hand....it is their freedom to do this.
But this is one thing I can't stand.
Racism is the worst thing there is!
I am usually for people having the right to say what they want. But I think there are some limits.
The reason their mom took them out of school might not be because they weren't teaching what she wanted them to learn. It could be that they were teaching what she didn't want them to learn..make sense?
This is one thing that cannot be allowed. Being prejudice towards people for race/sexuality/religion/or where they are from is the most horendous thing ever.
We are all people, not black, not white, not australian, not, not straight, not gay, not english, not japanese....WE ARE PEOPLE...you cannot just let some people go on like this, they must learn about prejudice and the harm it causes. These opinions, I guarantee are NOT these girls opinions, if they are being taught that racism is good, then it's like a deer is being taught to go toward a guy with a gun.
i'm done with this.

I'm not pointing fingers but a lot of rap artists can get pretty rascists.
Against women, men, black people, & white people.
I think that they should be able to say what they want,
but make sure they don't hurt anyone in the process.
Now I'm sure that most parents wouldn't want
their children to listen to that...so..really it's up
to the parents to see if it's sutible enough.

wrong...sorry...but no.
By the time kids are really getting into their music.....the parents have NO say in what they listen to...they can tell them...don't do this..or do this...but not going to work.
Racism needs to be stopped...simple as that.

you say they sing about being proud to be white. if that is all, then I don't see anything wrong. it's the same (in my mind) as me singing I'm proud to be Chinese, or any other person being proud of their race. so long as they're not discriminating against other races/cultures I don't mind a little pride.
music is a form of expression, is it not? artists should feel free to express their feelings. but who is it that decides the boundaries?

so you really are 'proud' to be a certain race?
That is kind of dumb in my opinion....do you find your race better than another race or something?
In my eyes, there are no chinese people, or black people, or white people; only: people.
You can't stop people from being 'proud' of their 'race'.....but people should try thinking beyond that.

It was a comparison, not a statement. I myself don't feel that pride; I reject so many of my culture's traditions and such that it pisses my mum off no end. There isn't any belief in me that my culture (or any culture) is superior, but my point was that if pride is all there is in their music, as long as they're not singing hate to other cultures, they can keep at it. Don't listen if you don't like it.

It's all fine and dandy if you support equality, and I don't like the extreme forms of segregation(sp?) due to racism in the past, but I still think to celebrate our cultural diversity is good. Whether you accept it or not, we DO have different cultures and different societies, and are just different in general, even if in many ways we are also the same. I'd appreciate it if you didn't write 'race' like that.
