Your Next Guitar/bass/drum kit

Today I'm going to go get my gibson studio les paul.

They don't have it in classic white, so I'm getting a wine red one, and they're going to order a classic white one. And when the classic white get's there, I can just give the red one back and get teh white one.


It's going to be kick fucking ass.

does it matter if you've got a half size or a full size

I'd definitely get a full size. I've been playing full since I was seven years old, so it's not like it's going to be too big or anything. And mind you, I was a small kid.

i want a full size one but im not allowed... theres no difference though is there in like the way it plays or the sounds

Change the tuners, i did so much better now, look better aswell with metal tuners, the stock ones are pretty crap, and far to delicate, and pretty ugly

well for me i need a few guitars so when i play a show i can just have them all in different tunings so i don't have to tune mine between songs.

pretty expensive alternative to a tuning pedal , it'd only take about 20 seconds between song, really you just want an excuse to buy lots of guitars but don't we all.

I might get this once I have enough money.

yeah same here, except im saving up for an amp really, think ill get the peavey valveking half-stack

meh, it's cool, but it's got a floyd rose, and those suck for changing strings.

me, alls i need is 2 guitars, my epi LP standard ($500) for standard tuning and my tricked-out stratocaster with new pickups ($149) to tune down a half step. I might get an ibanez to tune down a whole step though...

im so happy in a few more weeks (2) i can finally afford my 3rd guitar which will me a red and black fender jazzmaster! go me!

I'm thinking of customizing a guitar right now. My uncle is a carpenter and he's going to teach me how to do marquetry work. And then once I learn I'm going to buy an unfinished body and neck so I can put inlays all throughout it.
