Is your big movie debut Just my luck ever going to hit the cinemas? You've been banging on about it for what seems like years.
Tom: Oh my god. Yes, this is the year. It seems like it's been going on for ages, does'nt it? It was orginally supposed to come out at the end of last year, s in interviews we'd keep saying it was coming soon, but the date got put back to this easter. So it's still coming- and yes, we're still in it!

If they were to replace one of the London statues in London's trafalgar square with something to sum up McFly, what would it be?
Dougie: A giant sculpture of my willy, which people could sit on. Over-18s only, of course.
Tom: I don't think we'd put up with that. Maybe something from the wonderland sleeve- the cat perhaps.
Danny: My face. Or a picture of us playing live.
Harry: Perhaps a panini
Dougie: Thats not as funny or as good as my willy.

Speaking of your willy, Dougie, you seemed to spend a lot of McFlys last dvd(The wonderland tour) naked. Is this normal in McFlyworld?
Dougie: We actually had an argument over whether the footage would harm sales! That sort of thing happens all the time. It was only when people made a fuss that we thought the nudity might be a bit much.
Tom: You should've seen the unedited version!
Harry: We're just trying to educate the kids about their bodies.
Dougie: There was one random shot of Danny with his bum wide open, farting in someone's face.

Dougie: I've actually put on weight! I'm eating better these days. Unfortunately, my legs and my arms haven't got any fatter- it's all gone on my belly.

Tom: Dougie would go immediately.

Dougie: We'd just perform Danny's songs. We'd become an indie band.

Good idea! If you hadn't launched as a pop band, do you think you'd be regarded more like Arctic monkeys?
Dougie: I think if we'd come out in a more traditional way then we'd have been in a different position. But it's a ashame that some people will decide whether they like us or not based simply on which tv shows they've seen us on.
Tom: ****that! It's such a narrow-minded point of view!
Danny: Do you mind if i get my chocolate wafer out?

Gorillaz seem to have the right idea:record an album, then get some cartoons to go out and promote it. Could you do that for you next album?
Harry:That would be amazing. But we'd need some alter egos.
Dannyafter about eight days' thought) Oh i can't think of an alter ego. I think everyone else in the band would be a superhero of some kind, but I just can't think of anything. I'd have to go out on stage in my pants, like when you forget your pe kit at school. The best bet would be to completely steal Gorillaz's idea, but do it with chipmunks.
Harry: Murdoch from Gorillaz said that he quite liked McFly - but we jump around like we're hyperactive on sunnydelight.
Danny: I think he must of got us confused with Busted.

Harry: Everyone should be able to do what they want to do.
Tom: I suppose there's an argument for it. I think it'd get rid of yob culture and people hanging around on steet corners.
Dougie: Some of those knobs might enjoy it. The last thing you want to do with people is go: 'Here, have a gun and run about in the woods'.
Tom: Another plus for national service is that Dougie wouldn't have been able to join Mcfly.

Which new bands should we look out for this year?
Dougie:I'm really into Death cab for cutie- they're not very new, but they're amazing.
Harry: Look out for The vacancy- they're a band featuring a friend of mine from school called Josh. They're cool guys, definitely worth checking out. Fall out boy will also be massive this year.
Danny: There's this new band called Oasis- I'm tipping them for big things.

I'm listening to All About You for the first time in weeks O_O I'm having a totally horrible day (my brother was arrested last night and I was woken up by the police coming into my room to ask me where his room is) and it's so calming and pretty ^_^ The policeman looked around my shrine room and said "er, just an incling, but do you like McFly?" and asked me if I'd seen them I looked dead and probably stink but that made happier than I was anyway.
