The End...

This is probably gonna get closed, but I just want to say this:

People say that the world is coming to an end...well, that's what some people say. Science says that there's going to be some huge meteor or comet or whatever coming near earth. Then you got your religion where Christians say that Jesus is coming back and whatnot..some people say that the world's going to end by 2012..but I have no clue if this is even true, especially since I'm of Christian religion myself. I mean, I heard my dad say something like about when Jesus comes back and all that other stuff. I wouldn't wanna tell you anything more because it may offend or just plain bore you. But anyway, I just want to know what you think of this, and if this is a duplicate topic, then I take full responsibility. But I just wanted to tell everyone of this. It's been bugging the Hell out of me so I just had to do this to get other people's opinions.

Well, if the world ends, it ends. Not much we can do about it.

Everybody thought that the world was going to end in 2000.

Well, you could try a little more research, but I just don't understand it still. I thought the world would end in like...even longer. Now there's all this crap about how it ends around 2012...I'd only be 21 by then, and that would really piss me off...but if I think about it, I should be happy.

That just made me laugh. I'd be 20 so damnit. I say it ends when I say so.

I think they are going some of Nostradamus's predictions but I dont think thats it for sure....what the hell have you been listening to?

I'm just saying..maybe Nostradamus was right..maybe he was wrong..who knows? He might've been right for all I care.

Well you know how Christ ressurected on the 3rd day? It also says in Gods eyes 1 day for him equals 1000 in ours.
So I think the world will not end but you know he'll come back sometime in 3000 something or other. But thats just something I noticed.

In the Bible, in 1 Thessalonians 5:2 it says "for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night." Meaning that we have no idea when Jesus Christ will return for the Final Judgement. I don't worry about it, because I'm saved; I know where I'm going. Not to sound smug or pass judgement on others, this is just what I know is right for me. God gives all of us free choice to decide whether to follow Him or not.

Yup, the Mayan Long Count will again reach 13.0.0.0.0 on 21 or 23 December AD 2012 (The date 13.0.0.0.0 was the Mayas' idea of the date of the dawn of time)...
