yes and no. if your praying for a billion and two dollars and your not related to bill gates it's most likely not gonna happen but if your praying for the bus your riding in not to explode or fall off a bridge i think it works

Quite personal but yeah, I do pray and although I still believed in God, I stopped praying for a week or 2 and throughout that period had a lot of bad luck, I don't know whether that was a coincidence or not, I think, looking at it from a Christian point of view, if it works or doesn't work it's for a reason, like if you pray for something quite persona l and it doesn't work then it's part of a plan but I know some others might not believe that so that's just my opinion

Yes, I believe it works.. I read a book about it. And since that time I hardly believe. No doubt about that for me.

if u try really really really hard! and im not saying praying 2 god either like any one in general...but i sometimes do pray 2 god but only when it counts

I think its a mental thing, it comforts people, they think someone is listening, so they feel relieved and better.

So it works, but not how some think.

i really dont think that it works, i tried it a few times and it never worked! maybe thats because i dont believe that there is a god or something like that, i dont know...but i think god, church, praying and stuff is something that people fancied because they needed something to believe, because they were frail and sad and they had no courage, so they started to pray!
but thats just my opinion so.....you dont have to believe it

Even if I were Christian, I still wouldn't think that praying works. If you believe in God, than that should be enough.

praying does work, i go to church so i was taught that growing up i dont like it when people force their religion upon other peopl though

Uhh I really don't know anymore....
I used to think so, I would pray a lot when I was younger. Even when my friend lost his dog I prayed that he would find it, and the next day he did so I believed it worked.
But then when my dad was in the hospital, I prayed for the whole week that he would survive, and so did many other people. And we BELIVED that he would. But he didn't. And that was two years ago and since then I lost a lot of faith in God.

I strongly believe it works. Prayers of mine have been answered many times in the past. Sometimes they're answered when you pray, sometimes they're not, but if they're not, I believe God shows you something else in the place of it.
