What exactly is death?
Is it the nightmarish act
that most imagine it to be,
where one closes their eyes
for all eternity? Or is it the beauty
I see it to be.
Oh Grim Reaper!
Dark tattered cloak flowing
in the icy cold wind.
Sife at your side, it's time.
This is your nightmare.
He is your fear.
Sweet Lady Death!
Long flowing wings of black,
beautiful gown of crimson,
colors of scarlet blood fills the sky
as you fly beyond all we see.
This is my dream.
She is my savior.
When it is your time, how will you go?
Along with your broken dreams,
will you take hearts with you?
Hearts of those you seemed to
have lost oh so long ago still tagging
along with your dying asparations.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
as is the beauty that is death. Mortals,
as we all are, must die. You can try and hide,
pray, cry, and plea. But one day,
Sir Grim will appear and take up his sife!
As I lay peacfully beneith the trees, with Lady Death.
Death is forever, but Immortality is too.
As long as you remember, dearly departed
shall live on in our hearts. The choice is yours.
Remember me beneith the trees,
and I shall remember you in the reflection
of Sir Grim Reaper's sife. |
