I think the reason why we don't like the new ep's as much as the old one's is because we're used to the old ones. We know all the jokes and we've grown up with them. After the new ep's have aired a few more times, we'll pick up on all the subtle jokes the Simpsons have always had and love them just as much =] Hmm .. maybe with you ._. I don't think the new ones have the charm of the old stuff anymore, the new ones try to hard .. the old ones always had this happy end and aww

It's not because of the material,it's probably because the show has been around for a long time and everyone has moved on to something like Family Guy.

I think they were inspired by it for sure. But both are funny. MKy favorite episodes are usually the Treehouses of Horror ones.

I think they're kinda together, 'cos Peter off FG was in a Simpsons ep once, like the family off King Of The Hill.
