Bullshit.
"Emo" is just a label people whack on something that shows the faintest hint of being emotional, that isn't testosterone fuelled crap, that actually has some meaning, some intellectuality.
Shit like those bands Halifax or Senses Fail is emo, AFI are just AFI. People can call them hardcore, pop punk, goth punk, whatever, they've chnaged so much in the time they've been around yet people still label them and it pisses me off. They don't have a set genre. |
