i wonder why they got so poular after AI came out It was something different. All I remember in 2003 was rap / hip-hop being big. No one I knew paid attention to bands like Good Charlotte or Simple Plan. Even though they were on the radio. Green Day came and didn't sound like either and everyone liked it, I guess. That and they hadn't been out since Shenanigans.

That's sorta/kinda the issue with me. I've liked Green Day for about 9 years. I still love 'em. If I was gonna lose intrest in them I woulda done that ages ago.
And to the maker of this thread: I know you said not to say 'I haven't lost intrest' but......
