hello, children. today i'd like to introduce you to a band called killswitch engage. some of you might have seen them on the taste of chaos tour, where at the start of one gig howard brilliantly opened with the line "hello, we are killswitch engage. we are metal. get the fuck up!". anyway. these guys are metalcore. imagine trivium but more chuggy and with more majestic choruses. plus (now) one awesome melodic singer who can scream like a bastard. theres some free mp3s on the website. download them, tell the world what you think. |

Posts: 16018 | April 30th, 2006 at 06:11pm oh yeah. i shoulda said. theyve had two singers. jesse did "alive or just breathing" known mainly for my last serenade (though there is a howard version), and howard did "the end of heartache", with rose of sharyn and end of heartache. this might sound pointless, but jesse's songs tend to have more screaming and howard's have much bigger chouses. |
