Posts: 6973 | The Lost Boys is an 80's film. Therefore, it is obviously, going to be good.
It is about Sam a teenage boy, who moves town with his mum and older brother Michael. They sense the place is weird the minute they get there. Sam makes friends with two brothers Edgar & Alan Frog, workers in there parents comic book shop and they tell Sam that Santa Carla is crawling with vampires. Sam was all WTF DOOD, and doesn't really believe.
Meanwhile at the carnival Michael falls in lust with a girl alled Star who, coicendently, hangs about with the vampire gang. The leader, David, invites Michael back to their cave after a race and gets Michael to drink "wine" which is blood.
Michael is now half-vampire and will only become a vampire once he makes his first feed.
I won't spoil it anymore cause you so have to see it if you haven't!

Now I like to savour the wisdom of the Frogg brothers! The meal scene where they are trying to expose the vampire is genius, and “Shit! It’s the attack of Eddie Munster!” “ what a classic!
Also, Jason Patric looked kinda good in it  - now not so nice  ! So, yeah, I love this film…..  |
