Cardiac Arrest, We’re Going Down
Driven by the erotic scent of the ever taunting breeze;
The deepest desires of a shadow loving heart,
the emptiest of our minds.
The key to paradise, the beckoning sweet comforting
is simply a slumber away.
Fall into your dreams, your wings are oh so legible there…
Unlike where we stand at current,
where the clocks are broken,
time seems to freeze at its juxtapose.
The climax of our descending nights.
Tranquil but dead,
apathetic yet serene.
Cascade your eulogies where the daemons can hear them;
Amputate the devils heart,
stab this spite into a bitter half.
Cruelty falls at our disposition;
But I only stare and laugh…
Laugh at the delicacies of our own distastes.
Delinquents of the wasted generation,
where the roses have dissipated.
Where the living dead have ceased to haunt us.
For they too have sensed our failure.
Cardiac arrest, we’re going down.
Falling deeper into the tragedies, our casualties and mistakes.
All due to and because of our flaws, our refusal, our denial.
Moving on is but a figment of a feathers imagination,
too light to carry, a burden nonexistent.
But yet it rests upon us all,
alleviating pain yet evoking our anger.
Ire is laid to rest upon our goals,
the fire of this contempt filled phoenix has yet to extinguish.
Revived far too long, the hatred never ceases;
Cease fire is unimaginable.
Peace is a theory too complex to grasp.
Too beautiful to attain, to retain.
Too impossible to even comprehend, because we are doomed to warfare.
