 | Writer's block has now lasted with me for a couple months now. It sucks monkey butt. :3 So anyways, I tried writing a poem. It barely makes sense, but whatever. Read and comment.

A soul sitting atop a wire fence
Smiling and laughing, singing softly to the moon
Golden bracelets hanging on string
The stars reflect upon shallow pools
Her heart dances upon flower beds
Sun-dried roses strung to the crystalline shards
A rose bush’s fantasy of thorny ties
Her mind is lost in the caverns
Of a love-sick lie
If she could only look into the face of peril
Maybe she would still have her wings
She’d be smiling down on the glistening oceans
Running her hand across the rough surfaces
Of a promise
The promise of a guiltless desire
Fills her with the memories
Of tearstained kisses and firefly wishes
Guarantees painted on her heart in blood |
