This night would be the last happy day of his life
The tree was the site of his deathly disaster
A mustang he drove; with much horse power and fight
He was doing fine; in almost stable position
When I was at home; with no thoughts or fears of a death
A doctor called his family away; to tell them the news of his souls escape
The next morning the family had a fight; the one of telling their daughters and sons of last night
Little did they know; another soul was born
A litter of puppies helped the family morn
A father he paced; the living room with fear
Afraid of the words that had slipped in tears
We forgot about ourselves and focused on the cause
What has happened?; was the worst question of all
Well this is something I wrote in memory of my cousin 'Jay'
