It's for my best friend, Lizzy.
I hate it, but a few people said it was good, so I wanted to get other people's opinions.
Back Then
Back then
when we were young
I knew nothing but a smile.
Now I'm not so sure
I can smile anymore
Because I don't have you
By my side
To bring out the happiness in me.
Back then
It was a time
When laughter was innocent
And happiness was free
But without you
It feels strangely wrong
Please tell me how long
It will stay this way.
Back then
I shed not a tear
Because I had no reason to cry.
Now I can't get through a day
Without wiping the tears away
It's all too easy for me now.
To cry.

Everyone who commented/read this is beyond awesome!
(By the way, if it makes people understand it more, the story behind this is that Lizzy moved 5 hours away after us being at the same school for half my life, and how much I miss her and everything.)
