staring onto the floor

and sleep takes over

caressing your soft skin
waking up into the cold
and bitter winter
slept with your clothes on
in your unmade bed
sleep which be so sweet
free you of your daily sins
light the candles
in the grey evening light
and read
thy history books
as morning turns to evening
you put away your thoughts
time for your bedtime story

running in front of your eyes
