I wish

Ok, this is my first ever poem in English, I wrote it during classes I know it's not that good but I hope I'll get better in time.

I wish

Daydreaming, on the edge of insanity
Thoughts flying through my head and
Leaving me alone.
There's no one beside me
To ease what I'm feeling
Leaving these weights upon me.
Sometimes I wish, oh how I wish
To be lifted away and taken
To a place where I can
Lie inside myself and dream
To hear the story of the raindrops
To be myself and lie awake
To stare at a star and be asked
What I wish, oh what I wish
To tell her gently, slow, so very slow
That her brittle shining rays
Can not do what so many've tried
For I wish for so many,I long for so much
But what I need, oh little star
Is to hear, oh how I long for his voice
To hear the rainbow in his words.

You know what that reminds me of? Imaginary by Evanescence, it's really poetical but then again all the songs are, and there's so many pretty demo versions of all the songs...*rants about Amy Lee* o_o But yeah that awesome!!
