I went to the American Idiot concert in Philly. It was soooooooooooooooooo awesome.
Some of the cute things Billie did:
1. He randomly called a girl up on stage (she was mortified), hugged her and kissed her on her temple, and walked away. I think every single girl in the audience fell in love with him.
2. He wanted the guitarist to do a stage dive, but he had already left the stage, so he called over the drummer. Then, both showed up right next to him. He laughed and was like "Well now we're fucked."
3. He called a really little boy up to shoot the water gun, and was really sweet with him.
4. He dedicated Wake Me Up When September Ends to New Orleans.
5. He made us do the wave.
6. He made us say ay-oh 40 billion times (nothing new there)
And a million other adorable things!

I swear I think he does that because he forgets what he's doing. He's just up on stage like " ahhhhhy.." and then the crowd is like " AY AY AY AY!!!!2" and it works for him

My god, well, he's certainly very good at controlling the crowd! Never in my life have I seen such a massive group of people doing the exact same thing to please one person.
I've never been to a concert like that! It's like he puts everyone under a spell...
