the hybrid haze of amniotic fluid and faerie
aura. Satan ensnares the fallen angels and
crafts their mandatory horns around their
aching halos; he just wasn't brave enough to
fight back.
And it's always been the weakened minions who
are driven to dizzy coughs and spasm, as the
brimstone touches the chest. Trainee demons
are handed an induction booklet and assigned
a mentor, but nothing can erase the wriggling
desire to curl back into loving arms. Isolation
in pitiful dormitories, this is a new kind of
boarding school.
All he needs is a saviour. A fellow victim of
the fallen to help administer inhaled kisses
and watercolour affection. Angel magic can
soothe away the scars left by devil horns,
and heal the patches where wings once lay.
Oppression. Regime. It's always the quiet ones
that become ensnared... |
