What You Can't Imitate

I have a clone. I know it is true, though
they say “Similarity, but striking.�
It acts a live shadow, ’cross lawn biking
just when I do, the same all the way through.
And yet never around with work to do;
copying of me what suits its liking—
DNA if vegetables need slicing,
otherwise always stuck near me like glue.
Of course, no two braintwins are exactly
the same, not all the time. Still, not quite one
sane person when apart from each other.
Though my clone and I are admittedly
nowhere near normal. Just, even brainclones
make no perfect copies—we’d both shudder.

That was really weird. But an interesting type of weird. I like.
