She had him trained.
He was too afraid of her to listen.
She stepped out into daylight for all to see.
She did not burn from fangs out lust
or what she had burned with before.
In her mind she had commited too much sin.
She burned as her guilty conscience fell
toward the ground.
He lay in bed dreaming of
a child in darkness.
