 | May 29th, 2006 at 11:13am My heart spilled out through my fingers,
I have nothing left to give. I could take
it back, but what's the point?
It won't make you love me again.
It can't make me forget.
It's such an eirie feeling when you've
lied to yourself for so long, you believe.
Giving away my heart, replacing it with yours.
Let's just say it wasn't the same, but
I found sick pleasure in that pain.
It's love.
Now I'm left with a hole in my chest,
my heart has evaporated into nothing,
I'd never let you down. So here I am.
Heartless and cold, just like I insisted I was before.
You had insisted I had made a mistake,
but no. Loving you was the best thing for me,
But misery seems to catch up, and here we are again.
Take a look at me now.
Am I still the beautiful angel you loved so dearly?
Empty eyes, Battered form, My wings have
evaporated along with my heart and I lay here dying.
I'm dying, you're dying, we're all dying.
So why waste your time with me.
You may claim you are alone now.
Well, now you know how I have felt all along.
Now I realize that I have never had you at all.
I had merely fooled myself into thinking so.
Heavy hearts are hard to bear, but
they are missed when they are gone. |

| May 29th, 2006 at 02:06pm The last two lines reminded me so much of something I’ve read before. I don’t know what though.
I like it. Some parts are so so (I'm dying, you're dying, we're all dying.), others are great (My heart spilled out through my fingers,). |
