Street Life Ideals Impressioned Upon Her Psyche
Construction ruins and oh so frequent potholes
never stray from her ceramic eyes;
For constant sights leave deadly impressions;
Marks of oppression imprinted deep within her mind.
Emotional endurance, the burden of the streets,
fell beneath the sidewalk cracks;
It’s no such wonder she gave way to gravity,
her contaminated appearance was abstained years before.
Years that may have been childhood
but allegedly stolen, seeping through her ghostly hands;
The clocks paused to observe her,
the diminishing ideals of the peace we pursued.
Studded belts and chains
won’t resuscitate what’s lost,
the daemons of the night shant alleviate her thoughts;
The silent pitter patters of memories,
the miniscule whisperings of age old secrets;
the ones you wish you never knew,
but sought to discover…
The ones that led you to destruction zones,
beyond the lines of shadows and doubts;
To her dreaded alleyways,
the ones with graveyard rubble;
The ones nobles frown upon,
too unruly, too primitive to exist;
She is but a flicker to them,
the trick of the light,
the synoptic flashings
of the crimson hues and tints;
A seizure of malformation,
a cancer of abnormality;
Dissent to the voices of the night, give way to constant refutes… |
