Hey guys! Yep, for those who don't know yet, I changed my name, so from now I'll be posting poetry under this name. Very Happy

Anyhow, school is ALMOST over. I have 2 more finals monday, and I'm out of the woods.
Just so you know, you know how I'm gonna be the new poetry admin? Well...Apparently, I have another job. xD
I became a stories admin yesterday as well, so I've got a helluva lot of work to do. Poems may come a bit slower, so bear with me.

This is...erm...interesting. No idea where it came from, guess it's about how emotion is completely distorted nowadays. Enjoy! Oh yeah, the last part is screwed up. It's supposed to have the letters going diagonally, but it isn't working.

Such A Shame Emotion Was Impaled By The Mundane

Lavish expressions of subconsciously delved torture;
Crimson jealous fingernails digging deeper simultaneously,
the peaceful wakenings of “another anguished soul.”
The daily teenage stories of angst, lust and sorrow
have simply been aroused to a bitter end,
a lifespan of constant elation, abrasion and melancholy,
drenched by tear stained kisses and
blackened guitar riffs from some tarnished heart.
Another of those conformist raging trends;
don’t bother, dearest, the monster of ferocity
has been demolished to its miniscule dreaming.

The street signs finally started to peel away,
rusty colors and tints give off their final shine,
only to sink below the pavement,
the luminous concrete with the
spray painted bloodspots.
They’re only decoration, not the real deal;
the true blood of reality had
washed down the drain long before our time;
The passionate apocalypse, not the artificial;
None of this magazine misery,
a models’ nightmare, no anorexic abolishment
that is considered a tragedy, but real tears.
Tears from war, from suffering.

From suffering, the suffering of a child, of a family.
Of a human being.
Of what was lost, and what cannot be regained,
when the weeping shant restore the forgotten,
when those constant bickerings
cannot recover what had subtly refrained.

When pain is surreal and not distorted,
it almost reflects remote beauty…
the atmospheric emotion…
the feelings we lost…
the apathy that now takes control,
the one that turned us to shallow ghosts…
Never again,

N ow
e motionless.

But I'm not too sure about the structure of the last stanza. Just being honest. But I loved the first stanza.

You know, I actually thought that was your influence. Laughing Wink

But, to the poem....:
I so so so loved it, really.

That was my fave verse,
and I loved the end,
but everything else was amazing as well. Very Happy Cool
