Rancid

rancid were one of my very favorite bands in 2003-2004. i still like them now though, and i'm going to see them on september 8th or 9th (which ever date we decide to go, ebcause they're playing detroit two nights in a row).

i've only ever seen them once before, and that was at the 2003 warped tour.

Im going to see them in November! I cant wait

they're coming here for two shows in september!! i don't know which one to go to. i wish i could go to both but i'd be broke after lol. but yah, which show is generally better? a first show or second show?

They're cancelling their sept 1st through 4th dates though because Lars had a seizure last night, or sometime a few days ago during a show. Poor guy, best of luck to him.

Me too, he went down and everyone started chanting 'Rancid, Rancid!' and or 'Lars, Lars' then Brett stepped up to the mic and told them all to shut the fuck up because he was hurt.

I love Rancid. They write amazing lyrics and their songs get stuck in my head. But I love it!!!!

Today we went in this random record store in the village and they had a bill from when Rancid was playing in the city, and I asked the guy working there to sell it to me and he goes "No, I don't have that one."

And I was like "Uh yeah you do. It's right there."

And he was like "Oh. Do you want it today?"

I stared at him and I was like "Uhhh yeah?"

So he goes "Oh if you can get it off it's yours."

So I went over and it was attached to like a poster of Rihanna and all these other bad posters.

So I tore it off and ran away, taking half of Rihanna with me. XD

And now it's on my wall. We were going to try to go to one of their NYC gigs, but it was sold out months in advance.

Tim is putting out a solo album. It was originlly supposed to be free on the net. His new song is one their myspace, its him playing with the aggrolites.
