Hidden
In the depths of your mind
Hiding in the forest of Bluebell Wood
I see him.
Zarathustra.
I tiptoe and watch him walk,
To the hallowed saint he cried
"God is Dead!"
I gasp and let my feet carry me
He's a heretic, a lunatic
A hypocrite.
Zarathustra, the liar.
I open my eyes,
I'm in a dank, dark cave
A table before me and
There was many sitting there
Two kings too eager for power
A soothsayer condemning us all
A leech begging for knowledge
A sorcerer singing and sowing misery.
An elderly pope, who ran away
The ugliest man I have ever seen
A beggar,
A shadow
And Zarathustra.
The others turn and bow down to him
I watch in amusement
As Zarathustra became annoyed
Angry
He stormed out of the cave.
Zarathustra, the irritable.
I catch up with him
"What's wrong?"
He looked at me as I did
When he said God was dead.
"Humanity is ill
And I have the cure
but in their own ignorance
They believe they are already cured."
I look at you sympathetically
"I'll pray for you" I say.
Again, he looked at me coldly
"Prayer is shameful."
