Time and time again,
we close our eyes;
try to pretend
of worlds beyond our vision.
I'll take you there...
It's your decision.
Our dignity's amongst the clouds,
lost with false ambition.
Gaurded by the mischief we've found:
fallen heroes lack intuition.
Somber skys of black and gray,
reflected in your eyes.
Sing the filth and lies away,
with words as bullets for your demise.
We'll close our eyes
and try to pretend
of worlds beyond our vision.
This horrid place we've come to know.
Stealing souls with your permission. |
