 | June 22nd, 2006 at 06:07am Hermph. You guys were right. I can't do it, I can't stop writting. I have sooo many poems built up inside of me, soo so many ideas. Grrrr. I've been avoiding writting for like months. This won't be my best....
Those eyes.
Those eyes I stare into every day.
Trying so hard to uncover
the person underneath it all.
The make up, liberty spikes,
band tees and chains.
She can't hide from me.
That sad little girl, afraid to
take the next step.
She hides behind that mirror,
but I know the whole story.
Her eyes say it all.
That boy.
That boy I long to hold.
I want nothing more than to
spend the night in his arms.
I want to read the story written
across his wrists. Press kisses to
the tender scars of passion.
I want to see him. Not just the
anyone he wants to be in photographs.
I want to find the boy hidden in his mirror.
I love that boy.
These words.
These words that flood my head,
heart, and soul. I never write them down,
because my hands have minds of their own.
To you they may be pleasant metaphores,
beautiful words, something to enjoy.
To me, these words are my entire life,
displayed in stanzas and verses.
I live for these words.
I live these words.....
PS: Happy anniversary Stevo.... |

I liked how you set it out too, in the 3 stanzas about a different subject.
But it is awfully damn sweet |

| June 22nd, 2006 at 01:55pm I think you need a bit of a self-esteem boost, my dear. This poem was beautiful, and you should be proud, dammit!
As Ellen said, I like the verses being about a different subject. It worked well. And I adored the ending, as well. |
