After waiting 2 hours inline with my autograph ticket tightly in my hand and my sidekick in the other furiously tapping away at the keyboard waiting for the time to pass and my nervousness to quieten down – I meet +44 minus Travis Barker. But that’s right – I Cassandra Jade – met Mark fucking Hoppus. First of all I met Shane who spotted my sidekick and his eyes glow up. “Is that a sidekick? They sell those here?! I lost mine like 3 days ago. Ive been dying without it” “I know what you mean! I would too. Theyre new in Australia actually. You can buy them at Telstra stores. Telstra – Australian T-Mobile” “awesome! But then again we’re going to Japan in a couple of days… might as well wait. They’ve always got the coolest new stuff. Oh and your shirts rad” Craig is heaps quiet and just signs and smiles “goodluck with the show” “J thankyou” Then I walk out shaking and start jumping up and down maniacally embarrassing my nephew and shouting out “OH MY FUCKING GOD I JUST MET MARK HOPPUS OH MY FUCKING GOD I’M NEVER WASHING THIS HAND OH MY FUCKING GOD” And yes. ;_______________________; photos weren’t allowed. Dude I was SOOOOOOOO lucky to get THREE things signed when the limit was “strictly one per person” AND LIVE OMFG THEY PLAYED A NEW SONG. |
