At the moment ive got the Fender FM 100w half-stack. I was gunna get the peavey valveking half-stack but i didnt want to spend that much on a 100w valve amp seeing as i dont need that much power. I'd probably have some sort of mesa-boogie if i could.
And dont buy a Marshall MG series amp, i've used so many of my friends ones at gigs they play, but their just terrible to play with, the tones just plain bad, dont be swayed by the logo. |

ive heard spider II's arent too great. I reckon they sound too fake, too digital if you know what i mean. I hear the Vetta 2 amps are good though. |

How much did you pay for your Vox? My friend was looking for one, she found one but it cost $2600. To me thats a really big price to pay, is it? But alot of things cost alot where i live, if you want it you gotta pay the price |

Age: - Gender: - Posts: 25078 | July 14th, 2006 at 01:44pm Damn, I paid about $240 for it about 2 years ago. But I think the price is still the same now. If prices near you are ridiculous try the internet, they might even give you free shipping. So then you're avoiding the sales tax, and the shipping fees which is great. I know www.musiciansfriend and www.guitarcenter.com have this amp and other Valvetronix amps to. |

I have a Randall amp. It's like 50 W.
And I have another fender amp. But it's bigger and it's 100 W. It says FM 212R on it. If that means anything.
the fender amps are really nice. i guess the randall one is okay if you're going for a distorted sound |
