Held tight in your voluminous bosum,
cured of all insomnia. Your tainted breath,
laced with vodka and sleeping pills,
lull me into an uneasy sleep.
Several years have come and scarred my brain,
deadly thoughts I now possess. Deadly, in a
peculiar way, of course, as always.
Such a disturbing influence.
Some thoughts inside my head, rotted,
twisted into sick fantasy worlds.
Soothing comfort from sweet ignorant bliss,
a world of liberal love and serene unity.
Now I am a pacifist and an anti-perfectionist
but I have a vague idea of how I am.
You, mother dear, told me so well,
on one of your many deathbeds.
Accidental birth.
Coupled with your intentional
suicide attempts.
You disgust me. |

I liked this poem a lot, and I'm not really sure why. I could feel the anger throughout it, but it wasn't incredibly blunt either. Really nice. |
