O_o don't ask me. It just happened. Hah.

I dig my heels into the ground,
the ground that will soon consume
me. My hearts skipping like a child
in a happy playground daze.

I jerk my head back and forth.
To me, this resistance is a last resort.
I see your face in the masses,
you were here just a moment ago,
though it seems like forever.

Grinning at the fatigued sunlight
beams that dawdle into this torture chamber,
so fatuous, I almost pity them, yet I grin.

I look into the room along the hall,
two plain brown boxes lie.
Made of tacky oak,
our final resting place.
Satin lined comfort, that neither of us deserve.

Now I eagerly await my own release,
such a blessing to you and I.
I let you have the honour of going
first, now I follow. Such a simple
operation. A moment of blindness
and a twitch, then nothing.

Nothing except sweet release
and harmonious peace.
Complimented by a crowd's
hateful jeers and catcalls.

I grin wider and my eyes grow large and fat,
like our first victim, my mother.
We toasted her release with a sweet
bland rosé wine, the colour of baby
vomit. Many followed.

that verse was cheesy and the vocabulry clashed with everything else.

Other than that.... Shocked It was awesome. it was like... twisted. Not dark, it was happy, but not in the sense you typically think of as happy, almost like dismal satifaction about the whole thing. I loved it, it was really unique and I havnt read anything like it for quite some time. I absolutely loved it.
