Well not so much "hard rock" of sorts, just less 'punk rock' and more 'rock rock', as they've shown they can pull off on American Idiot. I feel a mix of the two would be fucking perfect on the next album. While all these kids will be like "omgzz SO not punx innit" I'll be ecstatically happy if they go for a rockier side of them for a while.
