Almost: another dedication to my other friend, Neil. i should have told him.

horrible memories of sleepless nights

so i told you

'respect, i just lost it for you,' he said to me.
did you have any for me?
we are best friends, almost.

'never took you for the type,' he responded.
my answer: expect the unexpected
things never change, you know that
yet i convinced you had it
almost, always for the best

'why did you?' he asked me.
the hurt was too strong,it felt right

'im so sorry' i told him.
i didnt want you to worry

'i thought you told me everything' he exclaimed.
i almost did.
