Anyways, back on topic, Billie has been voicing his political beliefs again...
"The night Barack Obama clinched the Democratic nomination for president, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong found himself experiencing an unfamiliar emotion: hope. "After his acceptance speech, I have to admit, it took me an hour to get the lump out of my throat," says Armstrong, whose band's American Idiot was the defining protest album of the Bush years. "Obama inspires people, and this country needs inspiration. People are jaded, pissed off and embarrassed.""
i think that christianity is floating around in his subconcious at least because of the names he gives his lyrical characters and the themes and ideas in his lyrics.
^ I kinda agree with that. my mom always asks me if he's religious or what, cuz the way he sings/writes it seems like he believes in god, but you never know anything with that boy. XD
i believe that Billie is agnostic he does believe in something greater than himself but he isnt a christian at all and i highly doubt he will be, some of my fave metal bands constsntly talk about worshiping the devil killing people and toture they dont and will never believe in that or kill or toture anyone!!!

Not in a positive connotation Marilyn Manson sings about God but he's not a Christian, ya know?
