Remarkable Rocket Falling In Love With The Board
Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 5761 | July 26th, 2006 at 06:37pm I've written about ten poems today... for a poetry notebook for my summer english class. So Why not post one of them.. its a pretty rough sketch of a poem... especially for what I ussually write.
Sugestions are welcome with wide wide and ready arms.

The Resonation of Joy and Sorrow:
A wisher's well is a lachrymal
Upon which the sorrowful will lay
And flood and let it be known
While the joyful watch with pity.
And the joyful will whistle
Of pride and accomplished contentment
Until the hearts of the sorrowful
BURST with envy; and flood.

Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 4161 | July 30th, 2006 at 06:52am Awesome. I really loved it, short, sweet, and somewhat inspired by HIM. Which always makes it a hit with me. I loved the lines 'A wisher's well is a lachrymal Upon which the sorrowful will lay'. Perfect. And it was even better when I looked up the word 'lachrymal', lmao. |

Hahah! ! I was nearly in tears.. Just because I was so frustrated (I cry easily ).. I had so many poems to write.. in just one day.
This was the better of all of them.
THANKYOU!
EDIT: About the Lachrymal Bit.. I also read somewhere.. besides its dictionary definition.. I think it was the ancient Egyptions.. or Ancient greeks.. who used to cry into jars.. and store their tears.. or feelings.. in a jar.. like a diary... and keep them there... and it was called a lachrymal. |
