what's malakite? all i could find in the dictionary was something about an islamic monk and that makes no sense.
It's a type of green-ish stone thing.
Like a ruby or something. D:

It's really pretty.
Google it. :]
that makes more sense than an islamic monk but still doesn't make much sense in that context. XD guess i'm just missing something or being too literal

OK so a friend just told me that she read in Popstar Magazine that Kelly Clarkson wanted to beat GD with the amount of fans they had. That mag was issued in 2006 as well. Then another friend told me that during the 2005 MTV VMA's Pre Show, that she did like Green Day. So I'm asking what exactly did PopStar Mag even mean?

For the record though, the bit about Kelly Clarkson is true, before the awards she mentioned that she wanted to see Green Day win.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but why is Mike sometimes referred to as 'Van Gough'?

EDIT: Is it because of his supposed role in The Network at all?

Ah, I see D:
It's just I saw it on Wikipedia's article on Mike, so I thought "Hmm, wonder why he's called that" so I came across this thread, posted it here & then thought "Wait a minute.. isn't a member in The Network called Van Gough?", searched it on Wiki and then came across a member in Network called VG gah..yeah, I did indeed answer my own question.

an interpretation i read somewhere was that it was a reference to his green eyes - as in he can't take his eyes of her

But i could have sworn that i saw definition that had something to do with manakins, which would make perfect sense

An English meaning? Eh It is not supposed to make sense, and if there's anything cryptic in it, only Billie and the boys know about it.

The gravy shoes thing? People might say "It's all gravy" in the same way you might say "It's all good" ... so, yeah

It's no secret or anything, not as if you're going to get the title and release date of the next Green Day album out of changing the letters around or whatever XD
