Always Alone

In the dark corner of his mind
He sits and waits for his time to die
He lives his life day by day
Watching his happiness pass him by
He wishes that his family
Would comfort him
For he is lonely in his house
Away from civilization the lonely man
Waits day by day for his time to die
He's ignored and rejected By the ones he loves most
The old man waits for someone to talk to
Someone to love again
Someone to comfort his loneliness
As he waits to die
Then one cold grey night
The old man falls into a pool of his own blood
But no one knows....yet
Not a soul
Cuz he lives in the woods....alone
Not until a week later
When his one and only friend
Finds him dead on the kitchen floor
The old man was stabbed by an intruder
And if only someone who cared was there
He might of lived
But no one cared
Not even his own children
So he died
Lonely and heartbroken

this was based on my grandfather...he lives all alone in the woods....it depresses me to think that one day he'll die...but no one will notice....and he could've been saved...but no one was there....it hurts me to think this...
