Sit down low, but reach to the sky.
I'll pull you closer but never ask why.
As this beam of shimmer goes across my face,
I ask the world why I'm such a disgrace.
Scattered, now, I'm overdosed.
Too much of what I've needed most.
Everything's torn, and I'm filled with dread,
So, I just sit alone with my knees to my head.
And I'm sorry I ever got into this mess,
And I'm sorry you ever got me to confess.
I did not want it back, but it's still my mistake,
So now I'm stuck here with this dreaded ache.
These old habits. Well, they never die.
So I'll tell you I love you, and kiss you...
Goodbye.
Yeah, it's short.
