Inari King For A Couple Of Days Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 2538	August 16th, 2006 at 05:41am This was an experiment with styles I tried while I was away. Let me know what you think. Shoes left like a nocturnal promise beneath the patio, footsteps like sighed breaths on ice-glossed pavements, air pierced with blade-strung kisses but she's chasing firefly dreams tonight. There are tentative trails ploughed through the cornfields. When her mind starts wandering, her feet have to follow down to the shoreline for the occasional lap of her reasoning. Age-worn innocence scribed across her snow-weathered face. Eyes turned to discern the fate written beyond the stars. Obvious truths no more than sleet screening car windows. The cynic bears a contradictory smile under the moonlight like the devil shielding a halo from a molten destiny. Sleep-talking has never been as obscure as her monologues. "Dreamers are fools sleeping on their fire-sprung inspirations. That's why I could never sleep with my eyes closed to reality. I'll follow my yearnings to misplaced destinations until I'm home."
