And yes, I do have my tongue pierced. Umm, it didn't hurt so much as it was just really uncomfortable. I mean, obviously, they're shoving a foreign object through your tongue and it does hurt...but, I don't think it's to the degree that people think it does, and it only hurts for a few seconds. Getting the cartilage in my ear pierced hurt more than my tongue, if that helps you at all. But it will vary from person to person, depending on your threshold of pain.
However, the HEALING of said tongue piercing is what was really uncomfortable for me. There's a lot of swelling(mine lasted for about 4 days) and I was popping ibuprofen like candy. I also ate a lot of popsicles and slushy drinks, haha.
