You stumbled across my naivety like someone trips over a secret:
with a fistful of curses and a mouthful of notes to buy more time.
No, that cotton-washed gown never fitted me but neither did you
and I'd prefer the burns of innocence to the shreds of sexuality.
Sewn together but you can still see where the scar used to live
like the lies on your lips, me on your mattress, losing my shame.
Lips to hips, hips to fingertips. I'm that mistake beneath your pulse.
Quit breathing but I'm still throbbing beneath, within you anyway.
That's the way you made me when you stripped me of that gown,
forgetting to lend me another facade to slip over this teenage ego.
So this is me; viciously natural and venomously truthful but pure.
Not so beautiful anymore now, am I, sweetheart? |

In Sruti's widdle head : A thirty five year old man, seducing a sixteen year old (don't ask), completely convincing her that her virginity is just a phase waiting to be washed away by someone who loves her, who needs her. He says "I am that someone" but she isn't ready, yet. He courts her, politley, tensley, pedo-ishly waiting for his chance to pounce. And he does but she stops him, screaming and sobbing before he takes her innocence away forever. She throws all his phony feelings back at his face and walks away with nothing but her pride.
